This is Steven, not Susan, but I'm sure she would agree that the site looks fantastic! I love the bright, cartoonish yet realistic style. I hope that's complimentary. I mean it to be, but don't know enough to say it correctly! Great job. There, that works!
I liked the splash, but there doesn't seem to be a way to get back to that element without reloading the address. Maybe script the logo at the bottom to do so?
